What an interesting story! I can thoroughly relate with your dilemma as well. I had several things in my care that belonged to my grandparents. They gave them to me because I was always viewed as the person in the family who loved history and historical artifacts. But when I decided to leave my home of 32 years in the state of Maine and traveled the world for four years I had to get rid of about 98% of my worldly belongings. What to do with these treasured memories? Mine were easier to rehome than your headstones will be, however. I’ve been trying to think of some thing you could do to solve your problem but so far I don’t have any good suggestions. I’ll be really curious to find out what you decide to do.
