Traditionally, girls were to give birth to sons who as boys would be sent to fight in a rich man’s war. If there is no war, which is rare for the US, then these boys and girls are needed to slave in the fields and factories in order to enrich the coffers of a few. Ultimately, life is brutal for the majority so the rich can live well. I’m sorry but if that is still the best we can do, then fewer babies is a mercy not a curse.
