The planet is designed in such a way that death actually supports life. Technically plants are alive as well. Plants and animals die and feed the eco system, whether it’s enriching the soil or providing sustenance directly. The entire world is a mass orgy of feasting upon one another. Part of our human manufactured problems are due to the fact that we aren’t comfortable with death. The whole concept of death nipping relentlessly at our heels from the day we draw a first breath of air is traumatizing. When we die we become worm food. In some ways that’s our purpose on this planet. To be born in order to give birth and then die in order to provide life to other entities. It’s a cycle that repeats over and over. Of course we resist the natural flow of things because we’ve convinced ourselves that we were put on earth to have dominion over everything else.
