My land is only a five hour drive north. It’s in a housing association with well cared for roads and electricity. My taxes are not expensive. I have two acres that tripled in price in less than two years. I’ve done plenty of research. I agree that no place will escape climate problems but there are definitely areas to avoid. And areas that will be less effected. I also prefer not to keep all of my money in banks. Nothing is without risk including banks and cash.
