That's not the question that I ask. We haven't come close to rushing. We've procrastinated for decades. A better question would be why aren't we encouraging the best ideas and rewarding them. Why don't we open source ideas rather than make it all about competition. Of course, I think I know the answer. Big business doesn't like competition.
