Several years ago, I bought property in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I’m in my 70s so it’s unlikely that I’ll build there. I bought the land to leave to my two children and granddaughter. I’m thinking they may need it after I’m gone. Land above the 45th parallel will most likely become the new prime properties of the future.
