Part of sustainability should include good planning whether its designing things that last or designing cities that are walkable, or designing easily sourced food and on and on and on. We’re not very interested in designing our own future and it’s a shame because we might have been able to create a far more sustainable lifestyle. Have you ever heard of Jacque Fresco? He’s dead now but he was a futurist with loads of good ideas for making better use of resources.
