Ooooooooh, how right you are. I think there is a gap between our technological and social progress. Technology seems to be running full steam ahead, whereas our social abilities are lagging behind. Even though we made a lot of progress socially in the 20th century, not enough to get us where we need to be. At times now it feels like we are caveman with cell phones. Our social skills to solve world problems are not very advanced and we need to upgrade those skills more than ever now because our technology has given us methods of fighting wars that are very advanced. We stand a chance of destroying civilization. It’s a critical time. No question about it.
