Lord no! The all or nothing crowd are willing to risk everything for their cause. It’ll be two fanatics pitted against one another, the far right and far left, and frankly I’m not willing to wager a bet on which one will win. Whether we want to believe it or not, the last 120 years has seen more change than any other time in the history of humankind and we’ve only been able to enjoy that change for a short period of time overall. We shouldn’t give that up simply because we don’t know how to take the next step forward. During times of regression you can’t waste your energy fighting for progress. Regression happens so much faster than progress does. We can wipe out 100 years of progress overnight.
