I’ve recently had a wake up call concerning places that I thought would be ideal climate refuges. I purchased land a few years ago in the upper peninsula of Michigan, because the studies that I read out of the University of Michigan and Purdue University claimed that particular region would probably be the safest in the entire US. However, they are breathing the same fire, polluted air that I’m breathing in northeastern Indiana. So you’re right! Everyone will experience some repercussions from the impending climate disasters that are now popping up everywhere, almost every day. Take your pick. Do you want fire or floods? It’s a shame that humans are procrastinators until the wolf is on their doorstep.
