Interesting article. I have a sister and a niece who are nurses. They generally share information with me regarding the rise of COVID deaths in their places of work. They live on the eastern seaboard of the US where our surges often begin. I live in middle American , but I always pay attention to our numbers once my sister gives me a heads up because so far we have usually followed an east coast surge with our own surge. I'm talking deaths due to COVID. However, I've concluded that because I'm in a high risk group due to my age, that it behooves me to practice safety protocol in order to protect myself. I'm of the mind that with the current variants, young people should carry on their lives without having to don a mask for my sake.
