I sold everything that I owned 17 years ago, retired early at age 54, and traveled the world for four years living everywhere but nowhere. I ended up returning over and over again to Spain where I now winter. Spain is my second home and if I didn’t have a granddaughter who I lived close to when I’m stateside, I would probably live abroad 100% of the time for the rest of my life. I’ve lived for as long as 3 to 6 months multiple times in Ireland, Mexico, Portugal, England, the isle of Saba, and I’ve loved them all.
