Humans are technologically advancing every day but Mother Nature can and does still beat our asses. The firefighters amaze me as they were up against a hurricane style fire and at that pace getting people away from danger had to be the top priority. Catastrophic events are about 40% higher since the turn of the century. They're called catastrophes because they are challenging even for those of us who are highly trained and committed..
