Great article. I hadn't thought of it this way. I certainly have seen that a unified minority can TRUMP a majority party if that party is unable to rally around a central issue. Republicans are great at that. They narrow it down to two or three issues that everyone supports — abortion and guns, for example. Democrats don't seem to have that advantage. We're splintered by a thousand issues that we individually support and refuse to unite if every box on our list isn't checked off. It fragments us. Sometimes you have to ask yourself, do I want to be happy or do I want to win?
