Gotta upgrade and expand those services. People will no longer be as mobile as they are today. First world countries will be forced to stop flying. Public transport within communities will return, meetings will be held online, even political campaigns should be online. No need any longer to fly somewhere and rent a space for a big rally. We’ll be forced to rethink where we build grocery stores. The neighborhood grocery store may make a comeback. We don’t need the huge selection that you find in the super grocery stores. We need products that are available within walking distance in every neighborhood. of course it’s mainly the richest countries in the world that will need to make massive sacrifices because poor countries are all ready doing without. There are lots of countries where their citizens never step foot in an airplane for their entire lives, and walk lots of places, and don’t own cars, and use public transportation out of necessity.
