Children aren’t worried about the gay couple down the street nor the book on the shelf. Their biggest worries are centered around family issues like divorce, mom and dad’s new lovers, living between two homes and two home cultures, and bonus brothers and sisters that come and go out of their lives. In the not so distant past Christians harped about divorce, premarital sex, and living together without being married but that’s been normalized leaving them nothing to feel morally superior about except the LGBTQ community.
